Texas Star Scarf Slide-Cinco Peso Coin

The star on this scarf slide is hand cut from a genuine Mexican Cinco Peso Coin made from 90% silver. 

In the 1800's, Texas Rangers weren't issued badges, so many had a silversmith cut one from a Mexican silver coin, the common currency of the frontier.  In 1962, the Rangers made the cinco peso badge their official badge, and Texas Rangers still wear it today.  It's the most authentic star we carry.

Wear it to hold a wild rag or bandana in place with true Western style.

Personalize it with lettering around the star for $10 per letter.  Each letter is handstamped by Master Craftsman Adolfo Ambriz and set so deep it will last for generations.
