The star on this buckle is handcut from a Walking Lady half dollar coin which is a silver coin. You can get the star concho with a smooth finish or with the coin showing and then soldered to the Ranger Style Buckle. The Buckle does come with two keepers. It is then soldered to the stainless steel buckle and it measures at 3 1/4 in height and 2 1/4 in width, respectively. When building the buckle, the rods on the buckle are woven like tapestry. Then the star is soldered onto the buckle.
